Candace Supporting our young Colorado Latinas!

Over 40 years ago, Adelante Mujer, Inc. was founded by amazing Colorado Latinas who believe in supporting Latinas across Colorado. The organization started supporting Latina women who wanted to take the next step in their careers or start their careers. After a few years, the organization leaders decided to shift their attention to the younger population in the state as there was an increase in Latinas dropping out of high school. Adelante Mujer, Inc. has been creating programming for Middle School, High School, and Undergraduate students to support their personal, academic, and career growth. Our student participants can connect with incredible Colorado Latina professionals who may share their stories and can see their future selves in them. They learn to advocate for themselves, learn about the tools and resources available, and create new relationships with other young Latinas in Colorado.
