The Recovery Resources Story
At Recovery Resources, we empower people to overcome adversity by creating a new story of recovery and resiliency. This month, as a Recovery Resources board member and person in recovery, I am setting the goal to raise $2,000 as part of its CO Gives Day 2023 fundraising event.
Recovery Resources is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving communities from Summit County to the Roaring Fork Valley of Western Colorado. We provide direct-care services and long-term case management support for vulnerable individuals who are experiencing the challenges of homelessness, addiction and unhealthy drug or alcohol use.
Our programs take a holistic approach to help people take the first step toward sobriety, get healthy, stay safe, succeed in recovery and build the personal resiliency needed to change their stories, and thrive.
Any donation amount is appreciated. Whether you can give $10 or $100, I am deeply grateful for your generosity to support this effort. It's personal to me.
Just 5 years into recovery, I am fortunate to have the friends and family to help me create a new story. There are many, however, who are not so fortunate. That is why the programs and services provided by Recovery Resources are so important to those looking to overcome their own adversity.

About Recovery Resources Programs:
Our programs are designed to support clients through transition or recovery. There is no one-size-fits-all for these journeys. With Recovery Resources, clients build the path that’s right for them, and we support them.
We provide outpatient programs and support services for those struggling with substance use or homelessness. Our scope of work includes: street outreach and case management, Community Connection Point day center, Winter Overnight Shelter, withdrawal management (detox), individual therapy, life skills development, Equine Assisted Learning and Holistic Coaching. We also provide justice system coordination services (DUI classes and compliance, and drug testing and pretrial coordination).
We also offer scholarships to offset the costs of treatment programs like Equine Assisted Learning and Holistic Coaching. You can learn more about these projects on the main Recovery Resources webpage https://www.recoveryresourcescolorado.org/, or on the CO Gives Day 2023 event page.
Will you help me raise $2,000 for Recovery Resources this month and help someone create a new story of recovery and resiliency? Donate if you can, and please share this fundraiser out to your social network.
Many thanks, Maura
