Ensuring the heath and wellness of our important mounted Patrol Teams is paramount for both horse & rider -- KAHUBA.org is committed to helping this dynamic duo THRIVE!

A revolutionary 8-minute daily therapy can change-and-SAVE our import heroes lives! Keeping this team calm... managing their stress by shifting the nervous system into a parasympathetic state... improving blood flow to the critical micro vessels and oxygen delivery to the cells... creating more ATP production for sustained increase of energy... enhancing the respiratory system for quick sprint bursts... speeding up injury recovery time ... supporting suppleness and agility... promoting vital REM sleep so the body can repair itself... and avoiding premature death due to colic must be a priority for this unit, as the        #1 killer of horses of all ages!

We are raising funds to donate BEMER Therapeutic whole body-wellness devices to each county Mounted unit in Colorado to support these important horse & human athletes, keeping them in top form from head to tail to hoof:

In humans, BEMER (bio-electromagnetic energy regulation) Evo set has been reported to be effective in pain modulation by improving impaired microcirculation. A relaxing 8-minute session simultaneously optimizes the health of all  12-systems of the body, every organ, muscle, tissue and cell.  With its increased use in people comes a similar robust application in veterinary medicine for therapy in horses as a NEW approach to address equine back pain.

The BEMER Horse-set was created during a 5-year collaboration with NASA to develop a wearable undergarment that integrates the BEMER coils for the astronauts to use while orbiting space.  The Horse-set consists of a blanket, 2 cuff applicators for targeted use, as well as a neck applicator.  BEMER is used by leading professional equestrians worldwide and is Veterinarian recommended.  It is an FDA registered animal medical device (Equine) that is an FEI approved supportive therapy.  BEMER has a A+ rating from the BBB.

Back pain is present in over 90% of the population of working horses.  It's a significant problem that has the potential to result in suboptimal performance, lost training days, behavioral issues, rider falls, substantial treatment expenses and potential loss of career for the horse.

Underlying causes are vast, hard to pinpoint, and often include poor saddle fit, weak abdominal muscles, hypertonic back muscles, lameness and spinal problems.  Treatment of back can extremely challenging and typically involves a multi-modality approach to resolve.  The common goal in the treatments of affected horses aims to alleviate discomfort, muscle spasms and stiffness associated with chronic back pain.

In February 2022, a fascinating and groundbreaking study entitled "Effects of a BEMER Horse Blanket on Thoracolumbar Epaxial Muscle Pain in Horses" was published by CSU Veterinarians Dr. Melissa R King, Dr. Kathryn A Seabaugh and Dr. David D Frisbie, where it was determined back pain and inflammation of the epaxial musculature is a significant problem in ALL equine athletes.

This study has shown that BEMER Therapy in Horses:

  1. Reduces muscular back pain
  2. Improves postural control
  3. Improves spinal flexibility
  4. Improves functional movement

Horses with naturally-occurring thoracolumbar epaxial muscle pain were treated in this study for 3 consecutive days at the Gail Holmes Equine Orthopedic Research Center at Colorado State University. Objective outcome variables were recorded, which included spinal evaluation, mechanical nociceptive thresholds, electromyography, kinematics, kinetics, and serum biomarkers.

BEMER blanket therapy significantly improved thoracolumbar epaxial muscle nociceptive thresholds. Center of pressure displacement as a measure of postural stability was significantly improved as well as significant gains in spinal flexibility were demonstrated at study completion.  The BEMER blanket produced significant clinical and biomechanical effects in horses with back pain.

BEMER is the global innovator in PEMF technology for humans and horses.  It was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Lichtenstein, with a USA home office headquartered in Carlsbad, CA for 13 years.  BEMER has been developing equine products since 2000. BEMER has multiple international patents, and proprietary signal configurations that makes it like none-othe,r and is the winner of multiple scientific and design awards.
