Hi! I'm Kathy. I am a volunteer and Board Member at The Right Step, Inc..

I started volunteering at The Right Step when I retired.  I wanted to learn as much as I could about horses, but it was the one-on-one interaction with the clients that really won my affection. The way our amazing horses instinctively connect with clients and the remarkable changes that I have witnessed.  I have seen younger clients grow physically and developmentally, I have seen adults with disabilities gain confidence and mobility. And the joy they each express at the end of every lesson is so beautiful.❤

Help me reach my fundraising goal of $2,500 to care for our horses, fund scholarships for clients, and support our instructors and volunteers who provide lessons! Donations directly benefit:

• Our Veterans Program - to help veterans build confidence, trust, and emotional healing through connections made with our horses. 
• Our Ground Based Program - to give clients the opportunity to learn horsemanship skills and have positive interactions with our horses without riding.
• Our Adaptive Riding Program - to help those with disabilities experience improvement in their cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being thanks to the equine assisted activities utilized in therapeutic riding
• Our amazing instructors and the dedication they put into planning each lesson is remarkable, as is their knowledge of horses - training and exercise, health, behavior,  and so much more.  It is this dedication that makes each session with every single client so successful.
• Our Amazing Equine Team:  Fred Bob, Chicklet, JP, Splash, Dot and Blondie.  Your help makes sure they have plenty of hay, grain, and medical care (they've managed to make a few trips to the hospital  this year)   

When I was just a little girl all I wanted was a horse.  Now I have six amazing horses  that do incredible work! ❤ Please join me in supporting The Right Step.
