Age 9, one of my first concerts
20 years later... first cello concert
Music first captivated me when I heard the violin in Colombia at age 4. After moving to the US, I spent a decade playing violin, and though I stepped away for a while, music called me back at 25 through the cello. The Colorado Symphony's awesome musicians and welcoming community made Denver instantly feel like home.
As a board member, I'm passionate about our educational programs that spark musical wonder in young minds - especially meaningful now as my 7-year-old stepson begins his own violin journey!
This Colorado Gives Day, I'm raising $1,000 to support the Symphony's 150+ annual performances and educational programs. Even better - if Associate Board members collectively raise $5,000, a generous donor will match it!
