MISSION: Family Tree partners with all people to prevent and overcome the interconnected issues of child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness to promote safety, healing and stability across generations.

Family Tree launched the Keep People Housed campaign out of necessity—we had not received communication regarding the HUD award and contract for our Brookview program, yet rent was due for our clients. Without the critical rental assistance provided through this contract, many faced the real possibility of eviction and even homelessness. In response, Family Tree took decisive action, reaching out to our supporters and partners to ensure that didn’t happen.

On March 24, we received word from HUD that a contract should be coming! When that contract does come, it means 36 families can remain housed as this HUD contract continues, providing them with the stability they need.

However, our work is far from over. There is still a great need for support – not just for our housing programs, but across all of Family Tree’s services. Our mission is to prevent and overcome the interconnected issues of child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness to promote safety, healing and stability across generations. Even in uncertain times, Family Tree remains steadfast in our commitment to those in need, and we can do so because of compassionate individuals like you.

How You Can Help:

We ask that you thoughtfully consider making a gift to support Family Tree's housing programs that provide rental assistance, case management, resources, and essential items to our community's most vulnerable.

Donations of $100 or more may qualify for the Colorado Homeless Contribution Tax Credit. Visit www.thefamilytree.org/homeless-tax-credit for details.
