Support Colorado Women's Education Foundation (CWEF) on Colorado Gives Day!

CWEF is one of the few organizations in Colorado dedicated to empowering non-traditional female students through scholarships and support services. These women, often over the age of 25 and facing significant financial challenges, are pursuing education to break the cycle of poverty and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

I’ve shared Leah’s story in the video above—an inspiring testament to perseverance and the transformative power of education. Leah’s parents are illiterate, yet she overcame immense obstacles to earn her degree. Today, both of her children are pursuing higher education, demonstrating how education creates a ripple effect for generations. I am proud to call Leah a friend and honored to have her as a CWEF Board Member.

On a personal note, I am deeply grateful for the education my parents worked so hard to provide. My dad was my biggest cheerleader, encouraging me through college and throughout my career. His unwavering support gave me opportunities many women we serve never had—a privilege I do not take for granted. As the Executive Director of CWEF, I am committed to advocating for these women, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed.
