I moved from Florida to Colorado in 2017, going from a land of too much water to one with not quite enough to go around. I love working at WRA on the Healthy Rivers team to create a sustainable water future for cities in the West. In my two years here, I've helped cities create action plans to grow water smart, develop turf replacement programs to encourage citizens to save water in their own backyards, and helped Colorado pass a ban on non-functional thirsty turfgrass at new non-residential properties.
