Invest in environmental education

Yampatika is named after the band of Ute people that inhabited our beautiful Yampa Valley long before we did.  Yampatika's mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through education.  Yampatika has been providing educational opportunities to adults and kids since 1992.  I knew about the organization for many years, but started realizing the tremendous value of Yampatika's mission when my son started to go to Yampatika's camps and programs at school.  He was really nurtured and inspired in his love for our natural world and learning how to protect our natural resources.  I am asking for donations because I really believe in Yampatika's mission and how the organization is going about delivering meaningful lessons to kids through amazing school programs and camps as well as fun and informative adult programs.  Give if you can!  

Also, be sure to select "Summer Camps at Legacy Ranch" if you file taxes in Colorado and want to obtain a Colorado Child Care Tax deduction. You will receive a 50% tax deduction against your CO tax liability (i.e., if you donate $1,000, you will get a $500 tax credit!). This is in addition to any federal tax deduction you may get, depending on how you file. For those who file taxes in CO, this is a great incentive and makes your support even more affordable!
