Maria's Literary Foundation

Maria's Bookshop is thrilled to introduce Maria's Literary Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to books in the Four Corners Region. The goal of this foundation is to put new books in the hands of folks with less access to books, and to put on great literary programming for our community. This looks like gifting books to schools, families, classrooms, and community organizations, and hosting more accessible events and programming for Durango and beyond.   It allows us to do more of the work we love best. We all know the power of a really good book, and we also know the power of a community working together. This foundation is the means that lets us serve our whole community.
