Colorado gives 2024 - Mile High Dachshunds Rescue

We are a rescue that is dedicated to helping dachshunds and dachshunds mixes that are need of rehoming. We take in dogs that are at risk of being turned into shelters.

We also transfer in dogs from area shelters to get them in a loving environment until we can find them a forever home.

We are 100% volunteer based , and all of our dogs go to foster homes, not kennels until they are adopted by their new families.

In our care the dogs receive food, supplies, toys, beds, blankets, & behavioral  training.  We also take the pups to our Veterinarians to address Medical needs , treatments and dental care.

We have rehomed over 350 dogs so far and with your help we can continue to help more.
