Thank you for your interest in the Newcomers Fund.

Established in December 2022, the Newcomers Fund provides grants to nonprofits that are meeting the vital needs of new immigrants in our community, including housing, basic needs, health and mental health support, legal services and employment.

All dollars raised through the Newcomers Fund are deployed quickly and strategically to Colorado nonprofits providing essential services. The Fund has received more than 5,000 donations from individuals, foundations and businesses, and has raised and distributed over $3.5 million to over 50 organizations in Denver, Aurora and throughout Colorado.

In the last two years, the Newcomers Fund has supported local nonprofits that are providing one-to-one, direct support for new arrivals by offering food and clothing and connecting people with legal, workforce and housing support. These organizations are also creating a safe environment where newcomers feel welcomed, valued and supported.

The Newcomers Fund will continue to respond to needs of the immigrant community amidst impending policy shifts at the federal level and threatening rhetoric targeting immigrants locally. For those individuals and families who have made their home here in Colorado, there are continued and emerging needs that our community can rally together to help address.

Thank you for considering a gift to the Newcomers Fund. Support from individuals, families, corporations and foundations makes a real and positive difference to those who are rebuilding their lives in a new place. Every dollar received by the Fund is deployed directly and strategically to nonprofits in the Denver community.
