Augment Music Project is a fiscal sponsee of Telluride Arts, a 501(c)3 organization incorporated in 1974.
Established in 2020, Augment Music Project supports local music in the Telluride area. The organization believes the vibrancy of Telluride's music scene goes beyond the major festivals to include a very talented group of musicians living in the area.
Augment is focused on community impact through music, evidenced in their annual grant program and the live music opportunities they provide to local musicians.
Offered through Telluride Arts annual grant program since 2023, Augment Music Project provides the funding and grant committee for the music category. Augment's process for review and selection aligns with the grant program initiatives, giving important consideration to the community impact of each application.
To date, Augment Music Project has awarded grants to 12 musicians/groups within the Telluride region. Recipients have used these funds to advance their careers in a number of ways, from studio time and equipment purchases, to music video production.
Committed to enhancing the vibrancy of Telluride's local music scene, Augment coordinates and funds a variety of community focused, live shows throughout the year. These shows include the weekly Telluride Farmer's Market and the FREE Summer Concert Series in Elks Park.
Augment is always looking for opportunities to support local musicians and enhance an event with live music, especially other non-profits.
Your support helps to keep local music alive in Telluride!
