Help Keep Families Together

In Memory of my beloved Brillo, I invite you to help me support Colorado Pet Pantry, where we believe pets are family. Over the course of a pet’s life, many people may experience hardships, but those challenges shouldn’t mean that a pet family cannot stay together.

Brillo came to me with a broken back and fractured leg. I nursed him as a foster and then happily failed and made him mine forever. I lost him just last April. 

Sadly, many other pet owners are often faced with the heartbreaking decisions of life or death; care or neglect; keeping or relinquishing. Colorado Pet Pantry addresses those hardships.

This year, I am fundraising for Colorado Pet Pantry, because I believe that pets and people who already love each other deserve to be able to stick together.

For Colorado Pet Pantry, this year marks a decade of helping Colorado’s pets stay with their families, through more than 100 monthly statewide pet food pantries.

Because most of the pet food they distribute is donated, they’re able to feed a dog or cat for only $5 per month. Colorado Pet Pantry has developed an efficient distribution system, leveraging more than 1000 volunteers, so they can keep the cost of feeding pets low, even at a time when price increases are causing expenses to continue upward.

Your donation not only allows pets to stay with their people, but also gives relief to our state’s hard-working animal shelters and rescues, by keeping loved pets in their homes.
