This is Pacha. Pacha, like me, just came to Pueblo Zoo back in September. But that is where our similarities end. First of all, Pacha is a guanaco, what most people consider to be a wild version of the domesticated llama (in case you need comparative exposition-- I am NOT a llama...) Second of all, Pacha likes to spit on people. He's the original Hawk Tuah guy. I don't like spitting. Especially not here at Pueblo Zoo. I absolutely love it here, and I think Pacha will, too, if he can stop spitting long enough to give the keepers a chance. See, Pueblo Zoo is small but mighty. It's small in size, but big in heart. And we love our new spicy guanaco, spit and all. I hear llama spit is great for your complexion!

Colorado isn't where I thought I'd end up. And I haven't been here long, but the zoo, with all the animals and especially the staff, have already won me over. I'm loving it here, and I want to make the animals' lives better.

Which brings me to this fundraising page. For Colorado Gives Day, Pueblo Zoo has set up teams: Team Llama vs. Team Lion. Yeah, lions are big cats. Yeah, king of the savannah and all that. But they have nothing on Pacha. My money is on Pacha. And I'd like you to put your money on Pacha as well.

For my birthday this year, I'm asking you to donate to Pueblo Zoo. Help my Llama Team kick the Lion Team's butt (because I'm not competitive or anything...). Let my first year at Pueblo kick off with a bang. Or a positive Hawk Tuah. I might be able to throw in a llama or alpaca nose/hoof print.

Ready? Let's help make Pueblo shine bright!
