I'm so full of awe and gratitude for our supporters tonight. This is generally the time of year when we focus on our fundraising efforts to support our programs for the following year, but we just couldn't say "no" to helping Roslyn when there was such a positive outcome so close at hand. Roslyn has been failed so many times in the past, but NOT this time! Thank you for coming together, so quickly, to make sure Roslyn received the care she so urgently needed.

Roslyn, the timneh grey parrot, urgently needs your help. We were contacted by Colorado Exotic Animal Hospital to save this girl's life and fund her required emergency surgery to repair her leg fracture.
Roslyn has been repeatedly failed by humans. She has reportedly been in six homes prior to landing in another local rescue just over five years ago. She was so scared and understandably didn't trust humans.
These last five years, Roslyn has been given the opportunity to love and trust a human and she's blossomed. She's transformed from a bird that was afraid to come out of her cage, to a bird that trusts the affection of humans. She will even lay on her back to have her feet tickled!
We can't fail her again. Her prognosis is excellent with surgical repair. We have been provided estimates for her surgery and follow up care, with those details below.
