Collections Preservation

We require new cases for the mineral collections in the Hennebach Wing and investment in environmental monitoring to preserve our valuable collections. We have been awarded $9,997.35 through a Preservation Assistance Grant courtesy of the National Endowment for the Humanities to support the preservation and conservation of our extensive collection of artifacts. In addition, we are one of two Colorado institutions to receive a prestigious Saving America’s Treasures Grant from the National Park Service to further this goal. We have been awarded $74,986, but we need $80,633 to match the NPS grant.
