Heart of the Rockies Rampage

Promote fitness and community by putting a spotlight on the Salida Skatepark - raising awareness about the park and the benefits the skatepark can have on the community. We are committed to bringing a professional level event to Salida. This event will offer a rare opportunity for skaters of all ages to participate in a World Cup Event, while also skating with and learning from some of the best skateboarders in the world.

CCCF is proud to host this dynamic nonprofit initiative.

This annual event features skateboarders of all ages and abilities including our local youth, a women's and men’s division, masters, and pro skaters from around the world.

You can directly supports local youth and promotes access to the sport of skateboarding - a recreational activity that offers physical and mental health benefits to youth who are often disconnected from traditional team sports and/or face financial barriers to cost prohibitive local recreation activities like snow and water sports. Your generosity offsets the cost of the event, keeping registration fees low and accessible, especially for local youth.

World Cup Skateboarding grew out of the National Skateboard Association over 20 years ago. The WCS is committed to developing and directing skateboard competitions around the globe. Focusing on the professional skateboarder, WCS has grown the pro tour since 1994 from 3 events to over 20 events that encompass the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Malaysia and Brazil. WCS provides a professional platform for competition that puts skateparks and skateboarders on a global standing.
