Too many students face food insecurity as a part of their daily reality. Our mission is to combat this issue on our campuses by providing essential resources to students in need.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, we distributed the CCSSE survey to students. The results were alarming:
- 11.5% of students reported that they sometimes or often do not get enough to eat.
- 21.6% of students reported that at least once a month, someone in their household eats less than they should.
- 10.9% of students reported that at least once a month, someone in their household does not eat for a whole day due to lack of money for food.
Thanks to our partnership with the Food Bank of the Rockies, our on-campus food pantries are open five days a week. However, we need your support to keep the shelves stocked for students in need. Please consider a recurring monetary donation to the Student Pantry to ensure its longevity.
Thank you for your generosity in helping us provide students with the essential resources they need to succeed in the classroom. Together, we can make a big difference.
