I’m Russell Frederickson, a board member with High Five Access Media. My goal is to remain connected, supportive and “multimedia engaged” in the community as a member of the board. I strongly believe media training is important for both myself and the community, and I view High Five as an open channel for that experience and support.

We are facing a monumental challenge. For nearly forty years, High Five has relied primarily on Comcast cable subscriber fees from the towns of Vail and Avon. As people “cut the cord” in favor of streaming services, this loss of subscriber fees is devastating for High Five.

To maintain and expand its essential programs, new funding sources are crucial to keep these valuable storytelling tools available in Eagle County.
