Salida Community Center

The Salida Community Center strives to serve the greater Salida area by creating an inclusive space that cultivates creativity and community. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community through food distribution and support services. Therefore, We value respect, compassion and honesty in all interactions and activities.

We serve the entire Chaffee County area by providing nutritious food to individuals and families in the area. We serve the youth in the area by handing out food bags to around 200 children to take home for the weekend so they will have snacks and food for the weekend. Every year we prepare and deliver and serve over 1000 people the Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. 

We provide a rental place for the locals at a reasonable rate so they can hold their events such as memorials, birthday parties and special events.
