Other requests are considered if funds are available. The SEU also sponsors a Back-to-School Shopping Spree each August in partnership with the Target at Denver West and the Intermountain Division of The Salvation Army in Denver. Donations from the community provide a $100 gift card for 60-70 children in Golden to help with the purchase of clothes and shoes needed for school. A new backpack and school supplies are also provided. Funds to support the work of the Golden SEU are raised through donations and the Bell Ringing Campaign held during November and December, when over 200 community members participate in this annual event. Please give to the Golden SEU!
