Sedgwick County Community Center

The SCOR Board began raising funds on behalf of the Town of Julesburg, CO to replace the old pool with a new pool complex.  The pool will be completed in the spring of 2024.  We hope that additions can keep being added to bring our vision for this project to its fullest potential!

In the summer of 2023 SCOR took over the management of the former high school building which is being renovated bit by bit for a community center. Former classrooms are now business rental spaces, a senior center is being developed, recreational activities are planned for citizens of all ages, and we hope to someday house a child care center.  We have a full time director of operations to run the recreational programs and expand our offerings to the community within the facility.  We have meeting spaces available to rent as well as an auditorium.

We will direct all the youth sports programs within our county and will develop activities for our senior population, those with weight lifting interests, offer recreational sporting activities, and after school activities.  

It definitely has taken a village to get us this far, but we are a determined bunch of volunteers who want to see some positive changes happen within our community and will work to make that happen.  We rely on everyone pitching in and helping out.  If you can help us to reach our potential/goals please consider your donation of time, talent, and/or treasure.  We could use it all!
