Shelton Elementary welcomed new 100 students and staff when Jefferson County closed the Pleasant View Elementary school this year. Through the organization of the PTSA, we want to create an after school music and art program to provide opportunities for students to build skills and connections through the arts. Our Music and Art teachers have little to no resources for extra curricular opportunities.
To run this program, we estimate:
$4,000 to pay the teachers
$3,000 for curriculum
$1,000 for supplies
