Why Support Bikes Together?

Bikes Together is a nonprofit bike shop and community hub for equitable bike access and education. We are a safe and inclusive space to ask questions, a resource to get or maintain a bike - no matter what your budget - and a place to build skills, knowledge, and community centered around bicycles. 

Our Learn and Repair hours, Gender Equality Mechanics (GEM) workshop, redistribution of recycled bikes to community partners, free repair clinics, operations of our social enterprise bike shop, and efforts towards recycling and repurposing hundreds of bicycles and bike parts are all possible because of your generous donations.

Our programming around cost-flexible bicycles, upcoming classes, and strengthening our operations are just the start! Join us in this vision and help keep cycling accessible, affordable, and fun for all Denverites.

Our Mission

Bikes Together uses recycled bicycles as a vehicle for equitable social change; collective and individual wellness; education and empowerment; and connection.

Our VisionWe envision a world where bike access and education is equitable and where Denverites are connected, curious, joyful, safe on bicycles, and have agency over their own transportation.

• Safety – Both on the roads and in our shops. We want people to be comfortable riding their bikes and accessing our programs.
