For years, Skippy Dental has brought compassionate, high-quality dental care directly to children in their schools through our mobile clinics. We've ensured that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the dental services they need to thrive.

But Now, Skippy Dental Is at Risk.

Our primary grant funding has expired, and without immediate support, this vital program may come to an end. This means hundreds of children could lose access to essential dental care—care that prevents pain, boosts confidence, and contributes to overall health and academic success.

Meet Carolyn: A Story of Transformation

Carolyn, a school RN from Ouray, has seen firsthand the positive impact that Skippy Dental's free dental services have at her school. For many of our students, access to dental care is a challenge, and this program has been an invaluable resource. Not only does it help improve their overall health, but it also boosts her students' confidence and ability to focus in class.

She's seen children leave the dental appointments with brighter smiles and improved self-esteem. Parents also appreciate the convenience of the service, knowing their children are receiving quality care without the added financial burden. The free dental service is making a positive difference, not just in her students' oral health, but in their overall well-being and success in school. She is grateful for this partnership and the valuable service offered to our school community.

Behind every healthy smile is dedication. Dr. Sabrina Butler, a retired dentist from Ouray, volunteers her time and expertise to ensure our children receive the care they deserve.
