Kacie Peters Renewable Energy Scholarship

Thank you for visiting our page! We are raising money for the Kacie Peters Renewable Energy Scholarship at the Community College of Aurora. This fund supports students studying STEM at CCA, with preference given to Engineering and Renewable Energy pathways. Launching this scholarship in 2024 in honor of Kacie, we are currently supporting one student at the Community College of Aurora. With your help, we'd love to grow the scholarship to support even more students in the future.

Kacie was a passionate advocate for clean energy and sustainability. Her ground-breaking work in the solar industry earned her the respect and notoriety of her peers as she endeavored to increase diversity, mentor young professionals, and create a better working environment for solar industry employees. Kacie was enthusiastic, vibrant, brilliant, hilarious, sarcastic, witty, irreverent, artistic, and incredibly thoughtful. She was a former ballet dancer who loved dancing, hiking and being outside. Her incredible legacy lives on through her son (Nate) and husband (Erik). Kacie left this world asking us to expand and normalize using renewable resources and innovating in the space.
