The Rise School of Denver is our home! Our Rise story goes back almost a decade now! Over my many years at Rise, I have worn several different hats including: Assistant Teacher, Interim Lead Teacher, Development Coordinator and MOM! I am so grateful to be back at Rise full time now as the Development Director!
My years teaching at Rise were some of the most incredible and rewarding years of my life. The relationships I've made have been lifelong and now it's Henry's turn!
Connor and I are so lucky to have the unique opportunity be Rise parents! We have a completely new perspective and appreciation for Rise! Henry is in his second year with the Bears class and and it truly brings me to tears how much we adore his teachers and therapists! Leaving your child can be scary and overwhelming... but not at Rise. When I drop him off at school, I know he is safe, loved, and supported.
Rise is a place where every child is included and genuine friendships are fostered every day along with individualized learning goals that develop each child's strengths. Rise provides a low adult-to-child ratio, master's degree teachers, highly trained teacher assistants, and expert therapists who enrich the development of every child with and without disabilities. Now it's Henry's turn to make lifelong friendships and we are so grateful to our Rise Community (family)!
To keep tuition accessible and affordable for all our families, tuition only covers 42% of Rise's operating costs. The remaining 58% is raised through grants and donations, which is why I'm sharing our families story with you. We need your help to raise over $700,000 this year to keep Rise thriving! At Rise, Henry and his friends are learning empathy, inclusion and belonging; truly invaluable lessons!
We hope during this season of giving, you will consider donating to The Rise School to support Henry, his friends and the many generations to come!
With Sincere Gratitude,
Megan, Connor, Henry and Norah
