From holding nuclear industry polluters accountable, to calling on our elected leaders to stand strong against war and genocide, to training our community in nonviolent direct action and protest art, we are working hard to build the reality that we would like to see for ourselves, our children, our children’s children, and so on...

It is only through the strength of community that we can continue to build vivid movements that speak truth to power, and make power actually listen. And it is more urgent now than it has ever been. This is why we are asking for your support.

Please consider making a donation to help us reach our $15,000 winter fundraising goal, and make your donation go even further by becoming a monthly sustainer.

As a small, independent, grassroots nonprofit, every dollar really does make a difference.

At the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center, we recognize that all beings are interconnected and interdependent. We strive to nourish the inherent capacity for compassion, generosity and joy in all people. We seek a healthy, sustainable relationship between people and the planet. We recognize that Earth and all its beings are inherently valuable and have the right to exist and be healthy. We seek to create egalitarian social, economic, political and environmental structures where all people are empowered to participate directly in decisions that affect their lives. We seek a world where conflict is handled justly and nonviolently, creating true peace.

Thanks to your support this year, we:

- Successfully coordinated a campaign to  empower Westminster City Council to withdraw from the Rocky Mountain Greenway! This effectively set a new precedent to challenge the development of a mountain biking trail encircling the most contaminated part of Rocky Flats.

- Attended and co-organized the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability’s Spring DC Days, with 56 attendees meeting with 71 Congressmembers on nuclear weapons, power, and waste.

- Hosted 22 events, co-hosted 25 events, and supported 33 events, including art builds, nonviolence trainings, film screenings, protests, educational events, and more!

- Got over 70 media hits on our campaigns this year!

- RMPJC staff testified over 30 times at local government meetings to call for a Gaza ceasefire, oppose the Rocky Mountain Greenway, defend Colorado immigrants, and call for police transparency and accountability in Boulder.

- Hosted weekly Nuclear Nexus meetings at Naropa University and anti-war demonstrations at Broadway and Canyon.

- Joined the Colorado Palestine Coalition, and made over 120 screen-printed signs for protests and marches

...and so much more, thanks to the power of you, our community!
