Yampatika - Inspiring Environmental Stewardship

Yampatika's mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through education. Environmental education is the first step towards environmental action - Yampatika's programs provide increased understanding and awareness about how the natural environment functions and how we can preserve and protect it for people of all ages and future generations.

Yampatika strives to provide people of all backgrounds in Northwest Colorado with opportunities to connect to nature.

If you know me, you probably know how much I love environmentalism and related activism .... from my undergraduate days in International Environmental Studies at Rutgers University, to my work as the Chair of the Environmental Committee and Member of the Planning Board in Kinnelon, NJ to my recent coursework in Sustainable Leadership at Colorado Mountain College here in Steamboat Springs, CO and everything in between. I am proudly now serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Yampatika, a truly worthwhile environmental education nonprofit organization serving Steamboat Springs and all of Northwest Colorado.
