Your New MdM Playground!

We designed a playground! The 6th Grade Task Force worked with all MdM students, their families, and staff members to decide what our playground should include. We plan to raise most of the funds needed through grants, but we need your help to raise the last bit needed to make this a reality.

The playground will be divided into a section for Casa de Ninos and a section for older kids. The Casa de Ninos section will include an accessible treehouse, a low climbing area, swings, and a garden. The older kids' section will include an all-abilities zipline, climbing structures, swings, and slides.

An outdoor classroom will create a gathering space for school events and community events. Paved walking paths and benches throughout the area will make the playground accessible to people of all ages and abilities. 

The playground will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so families will be able to use it whenever they want to.
