Jenn's Kempe Foundation Fundraiser

I joined the Kempe Foundation Board because I believe strongly that every child deserves the opportunity to develop and grow in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment.  

My Why

My work for Kempe is in honor of my father, who worked most of his professional life to ensure safe, affordable housing for families and children in the Western US. His dedication to give back is part of my DNA, and why I support the Kempe Foundation.

• Working alongside the Kempe Center, an international leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
• Engaging with Communities

• Partnering with a network of caring community members committed to supporting professionals in the field of child abuse, neglect and trauma prevention.
• Engaging a team of experts, legislators and advocates to advance policies that improve the lives of children and families in Colorado.

I had the opportunity to attend a Legislative Reception earlier this year.  At the event Colorado legislators spoke about the crucial impact of the programs and advocacy the Kempe Foundation funds. This support is so vital, especially in in smaller, regional communities where often access to services and support for children and families is so hard to come by.  

This year, our goal to raise $100,000 on Gives Day - National Gives Day is November 28th and Colorado Gives Day is December 5th, which happens to be my 60th birthday!!  In celebration of this, my goal is to raise $6600, and I will be matching your gift, no matter the size.
