Young Leaders Taking Charge

Hello everyone,

  As a student liaison on the AAYLC Board, I am honored to represent the voices of students and youth within the AAYLC and the broader Colorado Springs community. Since joining the board, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the diverse backgrounds, stories, and aspirations that make up our community. Moving to Colorado in mid-2022, I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I became more involved. The richness of this community motivates me to continue engaging and participating in meaningful ways.

As both a student and youth leader, I aim to inspire those who want to make a positive impact on the world around them. Whether it’s empowering future student leaders or encouraging adults to take action they may not have pursued earlier, my goal is to spark change and help others step into leadership roles.

At AAYLC, we are committed to providing students with innovative programs and experiences that empower them to thrive in their communities and beyond. From interactive annual conferences to scholarships and countless opportunities, we strive to make a lasting impact.
