I co-founded 350CO 11 years ago because Colorado stands at a pivotal moment: continue down the path to climate chaos or choose a safe, healthy, and clean energy future that we can build together.

The need for a fast and fair transition to renewable energy—and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions—is critical to protect our climate and communities. For over a decade, 350 Colorado has been a persistent voice advocating for this shift. We work tirelessly to build a powerful climate movement, keep fossil fuels in the ground, defund climate disaster, and champion sustainable climate solutions.

The urgency couldn’t be clearer. From the latest IPCC report to calls from scientists worldwide, the message is resounding: we must act quickly to avoid extreme temperatures. Yet Colorado still lacks a plan to phase out new oil and gas (fracking) production, our #1 source of climate pollution and the cause of our "severe" air quality issues. Reaching our climate goals will require a clear plan to phase out fossil fuels.
