Mission & Vision

Mission: Championing the welfare of all cats — especially the most vulnerable — through effective, compassionate care.Vision: A Colorado where every cat lives free from suffering and is valued by our community.

Why Us

Every year we see more cats in need: feral and stray litters — and families unable to afford care. At The Feline Fix, we’re on the front lines:

  • We run a full-service clinic in Commerce City dedicated to free-roaming and stray cats.

  • We're delivering life-saving spay/neuter services, vaccinations and medical care to underserved cats statewide.

  • We provide a dedicated foster-to-adopt program for vulnerable kittens, giving them a safe start and a forever home.

Our Recent Success (and How You Can Make an Even Bigger Impact on Colorado Gives Day!)

  • Since opening in 2003, we’ve spayed/neutered nearly 54,000 cats, preventing hundreds of thousands more from being born.

  • In 2024 alone we brought in and adopted out 150 + kittens, thanks to our foster-to-adopt initiative. And 2025 has seen even more kittens arrive in need of help.

  • Last year on Colorado Gives Day, supporters helped us raise critical funds that enabled us to help several hundred more cats, taking them off the streets altogether, as well as increased subsidized care for low-income pet owners. Every cat must be fixed!

With your gift on Colorado Gives Day, you help us say “Yes” to every cat that needs us — and keep our promise that no cat is left behind.

How Your Gift Helps

  • $30 = one week of kitten formula & foster care

  • $75 = a full spay/neuter & vaccination for a feral or stray cat

  • $150 = emergency medical care and recovery for an injured cat. Every dollar raised on Colorado Gives Day is amplified through our matching/incentive fund — so your impact multiplies on this one day of giving.

  • $250 = .The spay/neuter & vaccinations for 3 feral or stray cats.  It is imperative all cats are fixed to end unwanted litters of kittens struggling to survive a life on the streets.

  • $500 = the sponsorship of one kitten from intake to adoption, and this includes medical care, foster care needs, food, a spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.

  • $1000 = the sponsorship of a full litter of kittens from intake to adoption, including necessary medical care, all foster care needs, food, a spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.

Join Us On this Colorado Gives Day (beginning November 1st and ending December 9th), you can help set the pace for our year ahead. Your generosity ensures we’ll answer the call for more cats, more care, more loving homes. Thank you for standing with The Feline Fix and being the reason a cat gets a second chance 🐾

Background Statement

For more than two decades, The Feline Fix has championed the welfare of all cats via our primary focus areas: Spay/Neuter Services, Fostering & Adoption, and our trap-neuter-return (TNR) Program.

The Feline Fix is one of Colorado's leading spay/neuter resources for free-roaming and stray cats and kittens. To date we have spayed/neutered more nearly 54,000 cats at our clinic, preventing the births of hundreds of thousands of unwanted cats in Denver and its surrounding areas.

Our foster and adoption program focuses on the most vulnerable kittens in feral cat colonies. Our volunteers socialize these kittens in order for them to find forever homes.

The Feline Fix continues to demonstrate collaboration within the community and other animal welfare agencies. We are proud to be a member of the Metro Denver Animal Welfare Alliance, and continue to serve as a partner with many other local and regional cat rescues and shelters.

The Feline Fix also offers a free humane trap rental program to support our neighbors in their efforts to humanely control the free roaming cat populations in their area.
