On August 18th, Larry Stark set out on a 3,800 mile journey from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine. As he bikes across America, he'll go through 15 states, climb more than 157,000 feet over 42 days of riding. Each day will vary in distance with the shortest day being 37 miles and the longest day at 126 miles; there are 16 days at 100 miles or more and he will only have 4 rest days on this journey across America.
As Larry physically and mentally challenges himself, he will also be raising money for Treeline Pass (treelinepass.org) and Tennyson Center for Children (in a separate campaign). Donors can give a certain amount per mile or a total amount of choice. Follow Treeline Pass on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to see updates of his journey. You can also follow his ride on strava.com (Follow Larry Stark).
