Colorado Council of Churches

A nonprofit organization

We represent 13 Christian denominations and over 800 churches across Colorado. We build relationship between churches and denominations and collect work on social justice issues, especially homelessness/housing, child welfare, criminal justice reform, domestic violence prevention, the education of children, the environment, affordable health care, immigration reform, poverty, and racism.

Mission

Walking together in faith, working together for justice is the mission of our covenanting denominations, congregations and affiliated partners as they come together to be the Colorado Council of Churches (CCC).

Background Statement

The Colorado Council of Churches began in the 1930s as the Denver Council of Churches. By the 1950s, we became a statewide organization.
