Urban Spectrum Youth Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Urban Spectrum Youth Foundation has provided media training to over 250 young people, teaching important skills such as how to identify and research news topics, write and edit factual articles, create graphic design projects and implement effective advertising campaigns.

As the world looks toward newer technologies, it is critically important that young people receive advanced technological training in order to create accurate news that keeps up with rapidly changing industry trends and prioritizes media representation for marginalized communities.

This year, your investment in Denver Urban Spectrum includes support for programs facilitated by the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Urban Spectrum Youth Foundation, with advanced media literacy training that will prepare the next generation of media professionals to continue the legacy of accurate reporting in an increasingly digital age.
