We Feed Families
The LoVVe Project provides fresh, locally sourced meat, dairy, and produce as well as hygiene and cleaning supplies to over 200 families of Ellis Elementary School and the surrounding SE Denver neighborhood. In partnership with Ellis's social worker and principal, we ensure that families most in need receive our support.
We also provide culturally appropriate holiday foods, host an annual Back to School Fiesta and provide every student with a backpack full of supplies, and share the spirit of giving at our annual Joy of Toys event.
Our board members and cultural advisors look like the families we serve. The LoVVe Project speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic with partners from Mexico, Venezuela, Libya, Nepal, and many others. We pride ourselves on providing culturally appropriate foods and choices for families wherever possible.
We go beyond meeting bare minimum needs to create giving events with dignity and a celebratory spirit.
