Create and encourage methods for philanthropic giving to meet financial goals for a variety of donors. Identify, improve, and assist in addressing the needs of the Four Corners' communities. Foster understanding and cooperation among diverse cultural and ethnic groups.
"The grants from Onward! have been an integral part of the Bridge's ability to offer and sustain both our shelter and Day Labor programs. It is a huge gift to a non-profit to know that there is reliable local source of funding from year to year." Laurie Knutson, executive director of the Bridge Emergency Shelter.
"The Pinon Project recently purchased a new building in which to consolidate all our community programs and services. Funds invested with Onward! were used toward this purchase and played a vital role in our ability to acquire our new community space." Kellie Willis, executive director of the Pinon Project
Provide opportunities to develop and maintain a sustainable resource base that will enhance the quality of life for residents in the Four Corners' communities.
Our efforts focus on scholarships, civic beautification, social services, arts & culture, and organization development.
Created in 2002 with the assets from an estate. Onward! A Legacy Foundation has grown from one local scholarship to managing nearly $5 million in assets for scholarships, agency funds, donor advised funds, fiscal funds and grant funds.
