School Community Youth Collaborative (SCYC) empowers Montezuma County youth on their path to healthy adulthood through social-emotional education, leadership development, and engaging out-of-school time programs. Since 1999, we've been creating opportunities for youth 9-25 to thrive by fostering connections to caring adults, building life skills, and providing safe spaces for growth and exploration. 

Your support on CO Gives Day helps us: 

1. Expand and support out-of-school time programs at Montezuma-Cortez Middle School, Mancos Schools, and Southwest Open School, offering safe, enriching spaces for youth before and after school. 

2. Promote Safe Driving Habits through educational outreach and interactive workshops, reducing risky behaviors among young drivers. 

3. Deliver Evidenced-Based education like Botvin Life Skills Training, equipping youth with critical decision-making skills and resilience. 

4. Provide access to outdoor Adventure through our Gear Lending Library, ensuring all youth and families have the tools to explore and enjoy the outdoors. 

5. Develop Youth Leaders who are ready to contribute to their communities and inspire others.
