The Colorado Association for Bilingual Education is a non-profit professional development and civil rights organization. CO-CABE is the only professional organization in Colorado at the state level wholly devoted to representing both the interests of emerging bilingual students and the bilingual education professionals who serve them. Children are the primary concern of CO-CABE and its members, who work to ensure that learning is a reality for every student!
Our mission is to advocate for and enhance the development of educational policy and programs that will positively affect learners and communities of linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Over the decades since 1984 the Colorado Association for Bilingual Education has worked to advocate for emerging bilingual students and families. As a volunteer run organization, leadership and those involved in the day to day work of the organization we have been able to make an impact in Colorado's education for students K-12 for over three decades! CO-CABE has had generations for students grow up to become teachers or school leaders and have been involved with CO-CABE since they were students sitting in the desks! CO-CABE has a rich history here in the beautiful state of COLORADO!
