Seniors Resource Center, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

For 46 years, Seniors Resource Center (SRC) has been the cornerstone of aging support in our community. Serving metro Denver and adjacent mountain communities, SRC’s services empower older adults to remain safe, healthy, and independent in their chosen homes. We believe every older adult should have the choice of where and how they age, and our comprehensive services make this possible.

Our services include non-medical in-home care, facility-based respite care, home organization, deep cleaning, and support services that promote self-determined aging. SRC's dedicated team of trained professionals provides guidance, support, and connections to essential services and resources for adults 60+, their families, and their caregivers.

We recognize that supporting older adults also means supporting their home caregivers. Many caregivers experience stress, feel overwhelmed, and face burnout. Our team offers relief through specialized respite and caregiver support services, ensuring no one faces these challenges alone.

Every aging journey is unique. Whether you're an older adult seeking independence or a caregiver needing support, Seniors Resource Center stands ready to help.

Mission

Seniors Resource Center is a community partner providing person-focused, coordinated services to enhance independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults.

Our vision: Seniors Resource Center will ensure quality of life through a constellation of services, information, advocacy, and leadership, enabling our community members to age in the place they call home.

To accomplish this, SRC directs its unique, comprehensive, and integrated services delivery system to create effective and efficient partnerships and collaborations, avoid duplication of services, and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of underserved older adults and their communities.

Background Statement

SRC was founded in 1978 through efforts of community groups and individuals committed to having one centralized agency that could provide information and referrals for coordinated services to older adults and their families.

Seniors Resource Center has earned the distinction of being one of Colorado's most respected charitable organizations, serving seniors and their families with innovative, effective, and coordinated care for the specific needs of adults as they age. Over more than four decades, SRC has grown into a nationally recognized leader in senior services, serving older adults and their families in the Denver metro and beyond.

SRC coordinates services and referrals using a one-call approach that significantly improves access to the range of resources needed as individuals age. SRC is continually enhancing our services and growing our community partnerships in order to meet the growing needs of seniors, their families, and caregivers.

With the rapid growth of the older adult population in the Denver metro area over the last several years, the need for services has grown dramatically. As this need continues to grow, SRC remains committed to meeting the needs of older adults, their families, and caregivers now and into the future.
