Celebrating Lucky Day Animal Rescue of Colorado for Colorado Gives Day 2024!

What journey this has been! I am honored to have been a board member, and in recent years, Vice President, of this fabulous organization since 2013!

The passion and dedication it takes to be a successful animal rescue is so inspiring. The hard work of our fosters, transporters, partner rescues and shelters, veterinarians, all work together to create that magical moment of the perfect adoption for these animals. We absolutely LOVE completing a family while giving each pet their forever home.

My photo here is of my 3 special Lucky Day pups. Annabelle beagle was rescued in February 2014, Tess the boxer/ pit mix was rescued in December 2014, and Sophia, my beagle border collie, was saved in October 2020. 

Miss AB, Annabanana, Sugar Britches, Sassy Pants left us for the Rainbow Bridge in August. We are still working through the terrible void that remains but forever grateful we had this spunky ball of light and love in our lives.  

I am so grateful to have been a part of the team placing over 1500 animals in homes, working to lead the spay and neuter program now having serviced over 11,500 animals in underserved areas, and more recently, continuing the second year of a veterinary technician scholarship with Colorado Mountain College. 

I would be so honored if you would consider supporting our mission to Rescue, Spay and Neuter, and Educate this Colorado Gives Day. Every dollar makes a difference and we use this event to create our budgets for 2025 so we may plan thoughtfully and efficiently with your gifts.
