Colorado has one of the highest rates of mental illness and Substance Use Disorder in the nation. With so many Coloradans suffering, the need for high-quality comprehensive mental health care has never been greater.

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is a large, not-for-profit community mental health organization that provides a wide range of mental health and addiction services to anyone and everyone in need. For nearly 50 years, we have served the Aurora community. As Aurora has grown, so have we – both in size and diversity.

Our services are available in dozens of languages both in-person and via telehealth. We are committed to meeting folks where they are and providing the care they need to reach their goals. With your help, we will rise to the challenge of improving mental health outcomes in Colorado – one individual at a time.

“[AMHR] helped get me twenty years of sobriety. Helped me with all of life's challenges. Some of my problems couldn't be fixed. Though I ran into bad problems along the way, I got by, with their help.” – Justin L.
