The Judi Orion Living Legacy scholarship is designed to increase access to 0-3 Assistants to Infancy training at The Montessori Institute. It is especially for students who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color and/or experience overlapping intersectionalities and who would not be able to attend training unless some of the additional costs / lost wage opportunities are supported. Recipients will receive a living stipend of $500 per summer month required to be at training ($500 total for blended courses, $1,000 total for 100% in-person courses) to offset the cost of childcare, missed wages and living expenses that can occur during in person training. This scholarship is open to all students including those who are being sponsored. Students must have applied to the 0-3 Assistants to Infancy training in order to be considered for this scholarship. Students who are awarded this scholarship must be accepted to the program and be an active student in academic good standing in order to receive this scholarship. Contact us at tmiami@mac.com if you would like to apply for this scholarship.  Applications are due by March 1 and awards will be granted soon after.

A recent recipient shares: “I was sincerely grateful to receive the Judi Orion Living Legacy Scholarship in the first Summer of my 0 to 3 training. It was an essential aid that helped cover my daughter’s daycare while I relocated to Denver for the Summer. Since child care was not part of my student loans, this scholarship made a huge difference in making my training a reality. Thank you!”
