Covered House Project

Our Safe Home, Covered House,  is a lifeline for survivors in the critical stabilization phase. Here’s how we make a difference:

Safe Shelter and Basic Needs: Our Safe Home provides a secure refuge where survivors can find safety, warmth, and nourishment. We address their immediate needs for food, shelter, and clothing, ensuring they have a stable foundation to rebuild their lives.

Medical and Dental Care: Health is paramount. Survivors receive access to medical and dental services, helping them heal physically and emotionally. Regular check-ups, treatments, and preventive care are essential components of our support.

Counseling and Emotional Healing: Trauma leaves deep scars. Our compassionate counselors guide survivors through therapy sessions, helping them process their experiences, build resilience, and find hope. We believe in the power of healing conversations.

Case Management and Planning: Survivors work closely with our case managers. Together, they create personalized plans for the future. Whether it’s education, employment, or vocational training, we empower survivors to take meaningful steps forward.

Obtaining Identifying Documentation: Having valid identification is crucial for accessing services, employment, and housing. We assist survivors in obtaining essential documents such as IDs, birth certificates, and Social Security cards.

Protected Address: Safety extends beyond physical walls. Our Safe Home ensures that survivors have a confidential address, shielding them from potential threats. This protection allows them to focus on rebuilding their lives.

Annual Cost: The Covered House Safe Home project requires dedicated funding to sustain its impact. The annual cost for running this program is $250,000 and is essential for providing comprehensive support to survivors. Thank you for being part of our mission to break the cycle of exploitation!
