I'm turning 67 on November 8! I already have everything I need, but if you would consider making a donation to The Rising Church's Mission Arvada Homeless Day Shelter and Housing Navigation Center, where I am a volunteer, I would be very grateful!

The Rising's Mission Arvada is a lifeline for people experiencing homelessness in Jefferson County. As a day shelter and navigation center, it provides essential support and services to those living on the streets, in their cars, or in unstable situations. With the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of donations, Mission Arvada offers life-sustaining resources like hot meals, showers, laundry, warm clothing, and sleeping bags.

But they go beyond meeting basic needs. Partnering with service providers, they deliver critical assistance in mental health care, healthcare, legal services, document replacement, and more. Their core mission is to help people regain stability and dignity through secure housing, offering compassionate case management and personalized housing navigation right onsite.

Since 2019, they have helped 230+ individuals transition into permanent housing—and remarkably, 98% of those who’ve moved into apartments are still stably housed today. This success would not be possible without the continued support from the community.
