Vanessa's Dream Big Fundraiser

Colorado Dream Foundation believes that through a deep, sustained commitment to youth and their families, our community can thrive, and our work together can be a key catalyst in fighting systemic oppression. We travel side-by-side with the same group of youth and their families as they navigate education and life, offering academic, social, and emotional support as they learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. No one should take this journey alone. When we fulfill our promises, anything is possible.

 

MY WHY- I have served on the board since 2009 because this cause is very near to my heart.  I came to the US when I was very young as a political refugee from Nicaragua. I had big dreams and I had many angels and mentors who shepherded me through to success.  I want to be a door opener to every other dreamer out there and provide opportunities for those who dare to dream and dare to do.  CDF is a door opener and a catalyst for this mission.

IMPACT = 3X more likely to earn a Bachelor's Degree, 90% of our youth graduate high school AND we provide services to 300+ youth and their families each year!
