Colorado Environmental Film Festival

Hello family and friends!

Earlier this year I accepted a position on the board of directors for The Colorado Environmental Film Festival. As all of you know I have a strong passion for film as well as supporting film festivals and independent filmmakers. Film festivals are a place where independent filmmakers can share their stories to a global audience. We are experiencing a plethora of environmental issues and injustices. I believe film is a powerful tool to tell sometimes difficult and complex stories/topics in an approachable way. When talking about the environmental crisis, education is a crucial first step for us to make change within our communities and beyond. I also believe how important it is for us to hear stories from around the world because it has the ability to help people to realize that we have more in common than not. As an international film festival we bring those global stories to Colorado as well as to our virtual audience.

To date, we have shared over more 800 important environmental films with local and international audiences, inspiring people of all ages to become more knowledgeable about the environmental issues our planet is facing. 

Any amount you are able and willing to donate will ensure CEFF can continue to successfully bring the year's newest and best environmental films to Colorado audiences and beyond!

Your donation helps CEFF:

• Provide scholarships for students to attend the festival and have access to high-caliber films on a wide range of environmental issues.
• Offer financial support for filmmakers to encourage them to continue their important work and to travel to CO to present their films to our audiences in-person.
• Educate over 3000 audience members each year, inspiring action and solutions to address urgent environmental issues.
